Pies have been made in the village of Whitehills for years and years. It all started with the local baker George Moir who supplied a fantastic range of pies to countless outlets all over the north east of Scotland, a true legend when it comes to a home made pie.
A few years ago the time had come for George to retire and as such the pie supply was sold to new owners who carried on the tradition. After a few years however things changed and the business sadly folded, not great but these things happen.
With the sad absence of a quality pie maker in our little corner of Scotland the Seafield Arms Pie range was born. After many toiling hours of testing and tasting the final product was finally ready for sale, and the rest as they say is history.
We have kept the range small and focused on quality over quantity, and judging by the reaction to our pies we have it right.
The pie business runs alongside our hotel business, in order to cope with demand our kitchen is now a 24 hour operation, when one business stops the other begins, with pies being produced throughout the night and shipped to our customers the following day.
